It still isn't worth it to buy an old style Mac and try to turn it into a new style PCMac. Not even the most powerful current design.

Just stick it out and wait until about 6 months after the next version (PCMac) hits the market. The 6 months will give them a little time to work out the biggest bugs that were not fixed during the initial transition, and you stand a chance of actually getting a machine that will be worth the money.

Buy the older model, you are buying a crippled future. No doubt about it.
