Regulations control the content.
The government regulates the content of products labeled made in the USA by percentage of content. Some is better then none. Toyota assembles their trucks in the USA. That is American jobs. Dodge assembles some of theirs in Canada. They are labeled made in Canada. I agree a lot of the content may be foreign in made in the USA but at least part of it is made right here.
