Doesn't make sense.
Why would an Indian company invest in American workers? Our standard of living here makes us too high priced. The only hope for American high tech workers is if our politicians modify the global trade agreements so that foreign companies play on a level playing field with American companies. In other words, requiring Indian software firms to provide their employees with benefits and compensation comparable to American companies or imposing taxes on American companies that export work overseas. There is probably no chance in hell that will happen. Especially, as long as The Two Hundred Million Dollar Man and his fellow Republican corporate cuddle buddies are in power. Has anybody noticed that Bush and the Republicans haven't said squat about all the work being shipped overseas? The corporations have Bush and the Republicans wrapped so neatly around their finger it would be comical if the consequences weren't so dire.
