Who needs an excuse?
---I am just wondering how many excuses people could
find
to continue being minority.---

I'm confused by this. Why do I need to justify my
technology choices to you? I use Apple hardware. It's the
absolute standard in the publishing industry, and it's
heavily used in science, so in some ways, I'm part of the
majority. I like it. It just works and gets out of my way
and allows me to concentrate on my real work, rather than
on tweaking my machine. It's also aesthetically pleasing,
and good design and quality (software and hardware) goes
a long way.

I'm sorry if you feel bad that you can't afford one. I'd
rather drive a Mercedes, given a choice, but you don't find
me on car discussion boards demanding to hear excuses
from Benz drivers.
