History
Since you seem to be ignorant of the history, let me fill you
in. Steve "let them into their his world" [sic] more than 20
years ago. Microsoft developed application software for the
first Macintosh, long before they ever released an
application for the PC, and long before they every even
dreamed of writing Windows. In fact, they used the
information Apple revealed to them--and even some of the
source code--to develop Windows.

So Apple gave Microsoft their start in the application
software market, and to thank them, Microsoft ripped them
off and released a second-rate knock-off of the Macintosh
user interface. Nice guys, aren't they?
