Quit whinning...

If you take unticompetitive measures you will be prosecuted no matter if you are Microsoft or any other company. So stop whinning like a retard. Microsoft is getting what it deserves. Believe me that if IBM or Novell would shove their crap down people's throats I would not complain if they would be sued. Nobody needs WMP or IE forced onto them with Windows--one should have the freedom to chose the software he/she wants as opposed to being told what to want and being forced to use it. The forcing of products onto customers is the reason Microsoft makes so much money and competitors make so little.


"Microsoft's ability to innovate"
The only thing I have seen Microsoft do so far is take ideas from other companies and products and make claims that they innovate while giving it fancy names. They innovated only a tiny fraction of what Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer claim if at all.

Seems that for everything that anyone says, you and your imaginary rep dicussed it.

You put a lot of unbiased thought into it. I mean how can a movement that is promoted by the plethora of geeks and consultunts which help business get up and running be destroyed? The only way I see is software patents for ideas Microsoft employees never came up with (in which case it would be antitrust trial time). I do not know what Longhorn would end up being but given Microsoft's attitude in the past towards customers it would not be pretty (and probably won't be as is). Open-source is the only thing that has been pushing Microsoft to fix their products.


I really don't know why you keep on defending the company--asides from having it make you feel important.
