Why no mention back in this post about all this extra great "functionality"? Because you know it's a bunch of crap?

Well, it has definitely intervened in Microsoft's sorry dashed attempts to get to the datacenter (like they were ever going to make it there anyway). What linux has "invented" is a way for people to use a straightforward GUI without having to deal with predatory monopolies. Besides, linux is just beginning. Its delicacies have yet to even be tasted..sorry..
