And I have to agree with you. MS has enough money to do their own promotion and do their own research. (Heck, aren't we CONSTANTLY being bombarded by the results of the TCO "research" of outfits on the MS payroll?) And any money for research of the projects in the *NIX environment automatically helps the *NIX-based Apple operating system, doesn't it?
