Being a diabetic and a recent Kidney transplant patient
and having several years of dialysis before that I have to say I
have NOT experienced that kind of triple checking.

However I must say that I find it odd that with so many checks
and balances things still happen? The wrong leg is removed the
wrong medicine is given, the wrong dose is given. Germs jump
from contaminated instruments and people onto others it is said
where I live "IF" you want ot get seriously ill go to the hosptital.

The odd thing is we pay sooooo much for health care and we do
not demand more from it. I would think that based on the
money we pay that everyone and I mean from the janitor on up
would be Speical Forces calibure...With such a high standard of
profesionalisim that it would not be unheard of if someone
made a mistake they would commit ritual suicide out of a sense
of SHAME for being derilict in their duty. After all I was born and
raised in this country and one of the fundemental things I was
raised on was the concept of "Getting your monies worth" It
seems to me that somehow somwhere down the line we have
not gotten such from the medical community what we way too
often give them a pass for charging us for the equivelant of a
brand spanking new Ferrari and giving us instead a cheap will
only last a month bike tire patch!

Oh and hey if you take off my leg and it did not have to be
removed then I will sue you, your mother, every living relative
and your dead ones, the hospital and I will hunt you the doctor
down until I have your license mounted on my wall next to your
head!!!
