you might want to take a look at this:

(These facts are quite old I guess, the numbers might have actually gone up significantly by now)

So, think what happens to American innovation, when Indian geeks stop coming to USA (which is already happening post-911). America has always relied on foreign talent, be it Europeans, Chinese, Japanese, or Indians! You seriously couldn't have achieved all this, without the global talent pool.

So stop fooling yourself, believing you invented everything on your own happy

And ya, go to Stanford or MIT, and count the no. of Indian students in the CS dept. these days. When these guys decide to no longer stay in the US of A, which they'll soon, as the standard of living in India improves, then you'll feel the pain!
