Yes, but this is the battle that is so exciting.
Right now, the Microsoft/Office/IE battle with Linux /OpenOffice/Firefox saga is the story of the day. Microsoft still has billions pouring in but is increasingly threatened and desperate. We are all biting our nails waiting for every percent drop in usage of Windows, MS Office, and IE, looking for signs of exponential groth in Open Source that might spell a big problem for Microsoft.

This is huge, this will be bloody, this is exciting! This is news!
