VoIP?!! IM?!! Most of the people I "collaborate" with, are a few steps away. If I really DO need to speak to them I can get up off my fat@$$ and go see them.

To sell this line of crap, they must portray the exceptional office situation as typical: far flung office workers in different cities or different buildings who must collaborate, communicate, etc. But it's not typical and most people simply don't work that way. That's why people use Notes and Outlook for notghing more than email. Pretty expensive email clients.
