RE: 600,000 testers can be all wrong.
No one will buy it? No one is interested? Please, there were 600,000 beta testers on this one. Sure seems there are a LOT of people very much interested! Third party developers are all ready lining up new products built on Office 2003, many are already making sales pitchs to large companies, and the reviews to date have all been outstanding. You may say anything you like about the competitive products, and there are some good ones, but to stick your head in the sand and claim no one is going to buy Office 2003 is just plain silly. It shows a lack of the maturity needed to recognise the reality of the situation and compete. Thats all very well but does the investment result in an equal or better productivity output. There is no use investing into something that doesn't improve productivity. Sure, the MS fanboys will be happy that now they can be even thicker to script a Macro but the rest of us, with real jobs are actually looking for something more substantial than mear duplication of what is out there.
