How about a LEGAL open source DVD player?

Oops, that's right, there isn't such a thing. True, it's a small issue at the moment, unless you happen to run Linux and want to stay legal of course. But the fact of the matter is that with out a LEGAL license to the technology there will never be a LEGAL open source DVD player.

2.
How about access to MS Office documents that have DRM enabled? To my knowledge there is absolutely no way for open source (OpenOffice) to import or use these documents. Note that other for profits can and do license the technology to build their interface with these documents.

3.
How about Windows WMA and WMV file formats for multimedia? Or even Apples QuickTime format. Again, many, many for profits license the technology for encoding and streaming, but open source can not.

Well there you go, you asked for one and I gave you three times that many. Now I do fully expect some smart donkey reply saying no one wants or uses any of these but we all know that simply isn't true. Or we'll hear you tell us how none of that is needed or wanted on a server, blah, blah, blah. But, the fact of the matter is there are already main stream technologies that open source is being restricted from and there are sure to be more and more in the future as we see/feel the impact of software patents. (Not copyright)

Also take note, I managed to respond to you and post a reply without needing to call you any names or to use language better suited to gutter trash. Now lets see if your smart enough to catch on and get a clue.
