Technically inept...
Sun has lost it. My rep and I were driving by the Sun campus last week on the way to the airport and started uncontrollably laughing. What a waste of real estate. Sun does not have the talent or initiative to make it in the enterprise. NTFS is the ultimate file system. I have scaled it every which way with my rep leading the charge and funding the work. I notice Sun is competing against Linux because they know they CANNOT compete with Microsoft at all. Two lamo OS vendors going at it like Red Hat and Sun. Wake me up when the battle is over. Microsoft would never promise features in an OS and then pull them out at the last minute. Longhorn will put everyone else out of business.
