Can't force to buy and can't force to watch
Even if big biz forces device makers to disallow the commercial skip features, . . I'll continue to do what they can't stop me from doing, muting / not watching the adverts / taking a snack break or nature call / switching to different channel if movie watching or at the very least, developing a dislike for the company sticking its advert where I don't care for it. Just like web popups, push too hard and consumers will remember your name (as the company to dislike and not buy from).

Until the MPAA and RIAA can get a law forcing consumers to buy, they can't force ppl to buy anything they don't choose to.
