How bout DRM and multimedia codecs
License DRM and codecs to linux distros to please the RIAA. This will also help the 3rd world not pirate his software. This will increase the cost of distros to close the price difference. His stripped down version then can compete overseas. We do not know if and what kind of letters Redhat recieved from content owners. Or how about a good price on reading future windows file system. It is all a guess at this point.
