- I think there are better ways to help open source right now.
- Since Java is free on Linux, this will not help Linux much in the short term. Long term, it would be good to have an open source version, but it would have to be 100% compatible to have any value. If this is not a big distraction and it forces Sun to re-evaluate open sourcing Jave, ok.
