- I'd rather have a slow driver than none at all...

I'd rather have a driver which ran a bit slower than no driver at all. Some sort of abstraction layer should make this possible.
If manufacturers then want to release "optimized" drivers for the major distributions then that's fine too but first priority is to get the thing working and not break everything if I update my kernel (or whatever). - Posted by: figgle Posted on: 05/09/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
