Here is the real problem
They are touting vender buy in, but they are really saying is "Vendors, go spend your research dollars to discover great new add-ons. If they are successful, we'll build our own and add them in the next release so you can't get any return on your investment." This is the way it works with them. Either your products are worthless or they are successfully stolen by them. Go partners!
