SCO sees loss on legal fees

Sco is a respectful company?

The heart of the matter, is that SCO is putting a price tag on the work that programmers submited on good faith and with the understanding that it could be distributed for free. The opens source community (myself included) have been screaming since the onset, "Tell us what lines, we'll get them out of there!" SCO, has refused the offer, and has offered no proof to anyone that is willing to fix the problem, yet they claim "continued distribution causing them real business losses."
SCO is, and has been a dying Unix/Linux company for some time. Hence the lawyers get 20% of the settlement if the company is bought.
As far as respectable company, the last several press releases have been openenly, and factually shut down. They are just on this side of blatent lies, and some have crossed. It's a shame to, I think SCO has a good product, and a good idea. They just mis-marketed, and now are sending threats of litigation to thier customers. Not a good way to keep the ball rolling.
