Acrobat is cool: Personal opinion is that Acrobat is one of the few pieces of software worth the huge price. And if you want lower cost competion you've got Jaws and Nitro. If you just want to make the occasional pdf, then you've got all kinds of free options (including Open Office). If MS wants to iclude a universal format they should just stick in a pdf reader--doesn't even have to be Acrobat Reader--and a stripped down freebie pdf writer. That's a lot more fair to all concerned (including we users!) than crushing Adobe Acrobat, all of its competitors, and the small shop programers.; Posted by: Bill4 Posted on: 05/03/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
