Gates the Slimemaster spews more vomit

There is something wrong alright and it is not in the schools. It is with US corporate structure which relies too much on the executives to police themselves. You only have to look at the past immoral and criminal behavior of Gates, Enron, Worldcom to see executives will do anything for money. Gates is one of the riches people in the world but still wants more riches. He is a disgusting excuse for a human being, his mantra should be 'Business without morals'. I work with a plethora of H1Bs, most from India, and I can attest that their skills are not that great. Part of the poor quality of Microsoft products is directly related to the extensive use of foreign labor. But as friend that works as Microsoft has told me that any mention of the fact to upper management or outside the company will likely result in you being fired. The young US college graduates coming out of school are as bright as they have ever been (I'm a 20+ year experienced engineer). The high school interns we have had for the summer were impressive. I was amazed at the level of math completed by the end of high school - the same level I attained by sophomore year of college! As for the future when double major EE/Comp. Sci grads have difficulty finding jobs or the MIT grad with multiple patents looses his job to outsourcing then why would any bright high school grad opt for an education in Computer Science -- STAY AWAY! is the advice I give to my own kids and others when I give presentations. Why? The high tech industry has always been a difficult one to keep a job for long. There is always mergers, staffing up for development only to be laid off when the product is ready for market and now with all the outsourcing -- SOFTWARE ENGINEERING IS A DEAD END CAREER. US and European software engineers will never be able to compete with other outsourcing countries that do not practice worker's rights, do not have any environmental rules, and on and on. The government is not going to do anything because to hold and run for office you need money. And who has money, the corporations. Governments never react until it is too late. The future in both Europe and the US is a bleak one. China and India will grow their economies and the expense of Europe and the US. Already limited energy resources will quickly be depleted resulting in run away costs. The trade deficit will continue without bonds.
