Because we see the "reality"...
His "message" has been espoused for many years by others. This is a man who is saying we need more engineers yet he wants limits on H1-Bs dropped so he can import engineers. And don't give me this "there aren't enough out there" because I know many qualified engineers that are out of work or not in their industry because of companies that want to outsource or hire only H1-Bs.

And yes, many people are not going the route of science and engineering because of the fact that many companies are outsourcing these jobs. Why would someone want to spend that much time and effort for a career that either won't happen or will not be worth the effort.

This isn't an education problem, this is a corporate greed problem.
