Billy, You want more US engineers?: Start treating and paying them well. I've heard the phrase "just an engineer" too many times for my liking. It seems like only the marketing and sales types have access to advancement and opportunities.

Not to mention, who in their right mind would go through years of hard labor and take on a high debt load to get the skills and degrees, when the jobs are going to India and China?
