Since I've been complaining to OOo ever since before 1.0 about database capabilities, how could I not be a beta tester?
I even hacked out a crude ebuild (almost embarrassingly crude, but at least it worked) to install the tarballed RPMs before the true beta came out, and before Gentoo thought it necessary to include a more refined one in Portage.
It's a good thing I did too. There were so many problems with the early versions of the database I was beginning to wonder if it would get fixed in time for a spring or early summer 2005 release.
