I have also used TenFold. And it works!
Are there limitations? Yes, of course. The limitation do not however include not being able to set the the width of fields or other items described by lethax.
I believe maintainance is one of the strongest selling points.
The weak link of TenFold Technology might be that it takes the rope away from the developer, as developers may not enjoy that. Many developers like the chance to solve difficult problems on their project, and continue doing it (with mixed results) even when those problems have already been solved. For those developers a completely open system like J2EE or .Net may be the answer as the "Fun Factor" in TenFold is low.
For companies that actually want to produce application quickly with few problems, TenFold is worth a look. Being a developer myself, I would still choose TenFold so that I can contentrate my "Fun Factor" time on new stuff, rather than recoding what already exists in TenFold.

I have probably created as many report with TenFold Reporter than anyone. The lack of a WYSIWIG interface is annoying, and slows down development. But it is still faster than the other products I used that got you stuck in some GUI environment with no way of getting out. I love the ability to write the report ones and then being able to destribute it in whatever form I like, PDF, HTML, RTF, etc.
