Where are you people getting your information from? Are you Tenfold employees or something? Anyone that has used Enterprise Tenfold to create applications cannot deny the inflexibility. The seat licensing cost is what Tenfold is quoting themselves (as well as in the article).

If you want to talk about base cost, and compare to say a .Net solution, you have the exact same database costs for each solution. You can use MySQL for both (free for both solutions) or MS SQL Server (same cost for both solutions). The hardware cost and licensing to run the core application is the same for both solutions (You have to purchase Server OS and CALs for both solutions). Using a .Net solution there is no "application" licensing cost like there is for TF, so your product is already more expensive. As you add more users, the TF cost continues to rise. TF tries to say that the cost savings are in development time, but for a decent enterprise application in today's industry that is just not true.

Why would you pay $5000 for the single-user version MyTenfold when you can spend $200 to buy Visual Basic .Net? And can turn out a better product anyways?
