Domain-Specific Business Development
After working clsoe to 20 years in this industry, I am finally to the point where I can say everything old is new again (sort of wink In the case of TenFold I say Well done. Not because I have even had an opportunity to use the product, but because it proves what can be done if you hold firm to your greater vision.

TenFold is simply "Good for Business". I say that because most of the clients I have worked with over the years have been let just say "less than technical" wink

After working with all of the technologies mentioned by people on this thread and probably even some most of you have never even heard of, I think it's great that non-technical business users who simply use technology simply as a means to get their primary work done - have a toolset like TenFold that they can easily develop fairly sophisticated business tools and applications without having to have a CS degree.

I think it's great that there is a tool like TenFold available that will allow people to develop high-quality, working business software using their own domain specific terms and jargon that few of us computer experts can ever hope to understand let alone creat a proper data model for. One thing's for certain, if I had TenFold back when I started designing and developing custom business applications, I would no doubt have a much larger client base and substantially more money that would allow me to begin my retirement a whole lot sooner than it will now. Who knows, I might have even avoided the enormous losses I experienced when the company in which I worked cancelled their IPO and released all of their senior management team members of which I was one. So what if TenFold is too good to be true -- isn't that what we all thought before we lost our "posteriors" in the dot com meltdown?

All I can say is give TenFold a chance and be happy non-technical people have such a toolset with which they can grow their businesses and
increase their profits sooner rather than later.

Well done TenFold..Well done!
