And they deserve the opinion.
Home users are, when it comes to computers, completely ignorant. This isn't their fault, and they shouldn't be blamed for it, but it is so. The folks who can't find the "any" key vastly outnumber the ones who know their way around the system.

Yes, that includes the doctors, lawyers, professors, et al, who are still dumb as posts when confronted with a computer screen. I have literally talked to brain surgeons who need to be taught the basics of a filesystem hierarchy.

This does NOT make them stupid people. But it does make them idiots when it comes to computers.
