Amazing that you have such a low opinion of HOME USERS. Home users cover the spectrum of citizens including Doctors, lawyers, professors, etc., and other well educated individuals.

THE FACT that you duplicated the look and feel of Windows in linux proves nothing. I can go to just about any office in any city and find a 'typical' office user that knows NOTHING about the OS. Most secretaries I've dealt with wouldn't even know how to turn the machine on. So long as the machine is already on, they can use what ever app they have been trained to use. Co-called 'drive letters' for network resources has not been used for years and only the 'old folks' hang on to 'mapping network drives'.
