AOL Indian smartass tech support personnel
I installed AOL 9 on my machine. It turned it into an AOL machine disabling my LAN, modem, and USB connections. My third tech support person at AOL helped me get my modem working so I could use the AOL dialup. Then I asked for them to help me reconfigure my machine to get may LAN connection working again since the AOL software disabled it. They said I would have to contact my ISP or laptop manufacturer. I asked again ever so pollitely mentioning that everything was working fine until I put in the AOL disk. They declined. I replied that I would remove the AOL and never again use their services. The responce was "I guess we will have to stick with the other 38 million users we already have". Case Number available upon request.
