What's great about it: Advanced features found on expensive GPS units, free traffic, easy to enter address. "This GPS by far has more advanced features than most GPS units in this price range. I did not have any of the problems mentioned in the negative reviews. After using this GPS unit, it has features of GPS units in $300 range. This unit is very camparable to a Garmin. Voices is clear and very loud. Display is plenty bright during the day and automatical switches to night time mode. You can edit these setttings. Very quick route calculatiion and really quick recalculation if you wander from the recommended route. Seems like an instant recalculations. No delay. This unit is upgradable when connected to a PC, just download the toolbox and it will tell you when an update is available for your unit. Which there was a patch available the first time I set it up. Downloaded and installed the patch. You can also buy extras, such as POI, which I just feel I didn't need. The 1.2 million included is enough for me. You can also transfer pictures or music using the toolbox. The 43LT comes with free lifetime traffic. Works great in Maryland. You can even push the traffic icon to see all traffic issues in the area, even if they are not on your route. The unit has advanced lane guidance on display and tells you get left or right for your exit. Displays what lanes you need to be in when passing intersections or off ramps. Notifies you in advance when a turns is coming up and reminds you as you get closer. dings before anouncements. 2 english speaking voices that speak street names (TTS) , can buy more is needed. Dispays real traffic signs. Warns when speeding and displays a speed limit sign. Can be turned on and off. Displays next turn in upper left corner and distance, time left, and arrival time in bottom left corner. Very happy with this unit and all of it's numerous features.
