9/10 It's more than basic

Some reviews note the lack of bluetooth, live traffic display, European maps, etc. All true, but I did not need those features and so chose the 255W because it was not burdened with unneeded stuff. Two things still astonish me: First, the speed with which the 255W acquires satellites and position. Second the incredible amount of data stored in the unit. I have found a few small errors in the maps (not really Garmin's fault), and I don't like having to back out of many menus, but other than that I give the 255W top marks and recommend it.
