3/10 LaCie Ethernet power supply issues

After VERY little use and less than a year, the power adapter for the LaCie Ethernet Disk Mini 500GB just failed. Replacement power supplies seem impossible to find (and cost $45 - if you can find one). As a result I am very disappointed in the performance of this moderately expensive unit. I would not recommend this unit.
