2/10 Never had a worse monitor in my life

POSITIVES: Once calibrated, the color was really good. Nice styling. Easy to connect. Tech support was easy to reach and pretty helpful. NEGATIVES (AND THERE ARE MANY): Ghost images in VGA mode; Dead pixels & awful color in DVI. Took an hour to calibrate color. Color changes drastically in different resolutions. Manual control icons don't match OSD. Controls in bad spot. No DVI cable. Flimsy base. No swivel. ----------------------------------------------- After spending one hour calibrating the monitor, spending an hour with LG tech support trying to get rid of the ghost images in VGA (they recommended going down from the native 1920x1200, which just screwed up the color so bad the screen turned pink). I also tried connecting with a DVI cable - the color was horrible and many dead pixels resulted. I never could get it calibrated properly in DVI. I tired of this and took it back the very next day and bought a Samsung Syncmaster T240 - which worked perfectly right out of the box. I have had good luck with Samsungs over the years but thought I'd try to save my company a little money with the LG monitor. It was not worth the savings at all. Do yourself a favor - stay away from this monitor.
