CRM Analytics in 2009?
Hi Paul -- Great post!

A question for you: what do you see regarding trends in Sales Analytics/CRM Analytics? There is now a huge base of CRM customers who've spent many quarters collecting CRM data in their CRM systems, and they're wondering why CRM hasn't given them the ROI that they hoped for. I'm seeing a lot of companies look at their sales organization and realize that due to economic projections for 2009, they aren't going to be able to grow their sales teams like they had hoped. So, they're going to have to find ways to do more with less. In other words, since they can' hire more sales people, they need to figure out how to make their existing ones more productive. That's where analytics fits in. I'd love to compare notes with you about what you're hearing about this and what I'm hearing.
