Seems quite useless
I've seen this scenario many times:
1. Buy a new phone. It is now your baby.
2. Get the case, screen cover, extended warranty, etc. etc.
3. Use all the extra gadgets for 1 - 2 months.
4. Throw them out. Who cares... It is just the phone.

To me the case means only one thing - "I have a new phone". After awhile nobody cares that much. Phone has to be convenient and the less stuff is attached to it the better it is. If hands are slippery then it is better to get a pair of gloves or a phone that cannot be easily broken.
