well matthew, because you have been wrong consistently about the
smartphone market the last few years i would argue they are both
doomed, when you like them. the pre doesn't help palm as it should
regardless of critical acclaim and motorola will participate in the race
to the bottom (margin squeeze) of all android vendors in 2010. as
everyone (beside you, sorry) can clearly see, there are only two
winners in the smartphone consolidation process: apple and rim. (two
vertical integrated models vs. the licensed software model.)
