I hope not...
I'm a G1 user and an avid typer/texter/surfer. I write notes, song lyics, and many other things on my phone, and I'm a tactile feedback -obsessee. In fact, the lack of a hardware keyboard is what kept me away from the iPhone for so long. I'm eyeing the Motorola Droid now; I really hope Tmobile gets something comparable soon.
