Oh no another gadget ...where's my card statement
Before I begin, let it be know that I am a true gadget geek therefore my judgment is not functioning at full power. I still have a Timex Data-Link (contacts, appointments) do I use it, No. I used it at one time but it doesn't operate with LCD monitors, so it's in my NLUOG collectors box (No Longer Useful Old Gadgets), along with a Palm Pilot, a Jaz drive, a 1200 baud modem etc..
This looks interesting and possibly even efficient (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). If it comes out at the right price point, taking into account that the acquisition is fully expected to be retired to the NLUOG box anywhere within 15 days to 12 months then I might pull the trigger. I will be looking forward to finding the marketing stuff, to reinforce my story that I'm sticking to. It would be nice to also find the manufacturing materials, and the price point.
It could be useful, maybe, then again with an average of only 10-12 appointments per day, not counting outbound phone calls since I would be using my BlackBerry anyway, I don't think I take up an extraordinary amount of time per day glancing at my BlackBerry and perhaps pressing the screen (Storm) once or twice. I could probably save that same amount of time pouring my coffee with more care so I don't have to reach for a towel, take two swipes of the counter top, toss the towel in the recycle bin, bend over and pick up the towel that missed the recycle bin, carefully place the towel in the recycle bin, stand up, take a sip of my overfilled mug and possible repeat the process starting with reach for a towel ............
