WinMo 6.5 is not eminent
I wonder if the reason behind Spint and TMobile
not mentioning a future upgradeable path on the
TP2 to WinMo 6.5 or even 7.0 is because one
does not exist? PC makers have made the very
best efforts letting consumers know that
although their new PC's have WinVista, "Win7 is
on the way" and if you buy now, "Win7 will be
included once it becomes available." Microsoft,
HTC as well as Sprint and TMobile understand
sales and marketing very well. And they also
know early adopters tend to be in the know
about future tech releases. So, why wouldn't
they let us know upfront about an upgradeable
path to keep prospective buyers locked and
loaded? I digress, If in fact its not possible
to go from 6.1 to 6.5 and subsequently 7.0 this
phone is D.O.A.! And I believe that in a few
short years that Microsoft will ultimately
concede the Mobile OS space as its market share
continues to shrink. Apple/Palm/Android OS's
all have future proofing built in.
