HTC; 3.5mm headset jacks coming on most future devices

Excellent news...

...I will not buy a phone that doesn't come with a 3.5mm jack socket as failure to have one just becomes too irritating as I found out with the Samsung Omnia.

I appreciate the point about two sockets being required but in my case that's good - it means I can charge my 5800 whilst listening to music through a plugged in FM Transmitter or amplified voice directions on the sat nav.
