Can't see how cellular providers think their below par delivery platform, and not-that-much-more-current map data is worth the purchase price of a perfectly good consumer level GPS per annum! But at a buck or so a month, they'd have loads of takers. Consumers pay a premium for exclusivity (which their nav services do not have) or convenience (having a single device) - but they won't pay a 10% or more premium for that convenience.
