- It costs $800 more...and is probably worth it
- Fluorescent backlights suck energy and burn out, while LED's sip power and last virtually forever. If one LED fails you probably wouldn't even notice the faintly dimmer onscreen spot. Figure a service call and bulbs plus power savings over a 10-year lifespan, and you've got a wash.
