Surprisingly....
From the Providence Journal (The ProJo as we call it and the BloJo as it's referred to by The Providence Phoenix):

Providence will be the largest TV market in the country where nearly all the stations make the switch on the original Feb. 17 deadline, said Channel 12 General Manager Jay Howell.

Well, imagine that. The smallest state has the largest market converting according to the original schedule. Who'd a thunk we'd have the largest anything...well, aside from the largest percentage of corrupt politicians per capita. But, I digress. devil

Details of the switch:

10 (NBC) and 12 (CBS) - switched on the 17th

64 (Fox Providence) - in two weeks

6 (ABC) - 60 days

36 (PBS) and 28 (CW TV) already converted a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for mentionin' our li'l state. Y'all come back now, ya hear? silly
