Oprah comes, Oprah goes: Who cares?

Nope you're wrong: How many followers you attract on Twitter show how popular you are. This means that Twitter is nothing more than a tool to expand the "Popularity Contest" past the traditional High School environment. Silly, stupid and meaningless stuff is what people NOW use Twitter for (and LOVE it!).

This is analogous to when AOL hit the internet. Overnight the level of discourse in NeWS groups sunk from thought provoking to flames and "Me Toos". Think of adults swimming in a pool and then letting in 100 kids.
