Well said, I agree. Although it remains puzzling for outsiders, how companies can make money from open source... But they do. Perhaps you could devote a blog to the money-making that can be achieved for businesses, when they become active in open source development?
By the way: I read about the free openSUSE DVD's with a little misgiving... I requested some, but I never received any. No reason was given.... In fact, I received no reaction at all.
