from the perspective of Software AG (my employer) a TIBCO SAP combination would be great news...
Software AG would have the undisputed crown as the biggest independent middleware vendor then... SAG is currently about $1B in annual revenue, $1.5 if you include the consolidated revenue from IDS Scheer.
Hope this happens soon!
