great article, need more on to-scale PPM solutions

PPM is essential to operating and managing information services and technology needed for corporation and large enterprises.

The HP PPM offering is definitely worth investigating.

I totally agree with your article.

However, I would like to see more of the same type of PPM ideas and case studies on ZDNET- with a focus
on a smaller scale of business:
the local medical clinic
or group of family practice doctors,
or medium-sized vendors.

Smaller businesses find themselves increasingly competing with the larger and larger firms for the same business- especially in this tight economy.

For these smaller business budget, timing, and non-duplicating and non-wasteful work is even more important.

To-scale PPM solutions would be one way that can help these business get an edge over larger firms and companies. Perhaps reaching their market with the same style of marketing, and collateral that only larger firms seem to be able to afford.

It would also help medium-sized IT solution firms
to offer similar compelling service at a price local business can better afford.
